Opeyemi Sowore calls on the UN to help bring her husband home

Opeyemi Sowore, the wife of Omoyele Sowore, the New Jersey-based publisher of Sahara Reporters currently being detained by the Nigerian authorities, has asked the United Nations to intervene against the “lawlessness” of the Nigerian government.

The activist was held in August and charged with “treason” after calling for a “revolution” in Nigeria. His wife spoke to CNN.
