Nigeria coach Salisu Yusuf caught on tape in bribery sting

Salisu Yusuf, who is the chief coach of the Nigerian national team has been caught on video accepting a bribe of $1,000 to pick two players for his squad at the 2018 African Championship (CHAN) – a competition for players based in African domestic leagues.

The footage was captured by controversial Ghanaian investigative journalist Anas Aremayaw Anas.

Yusuf coaches the Nigeria-based Super Eagles, and is one of the assistants for German Gernot Rohr who manages the A team.

What Yusuf has been caught on tape doing confirms allegations against Nigerian coaches that have been swirling around for decades.
