Nigerian winger Ahmed Musa has signed a four year deal for English champions Leicester City after completing a medical today.
Musa’s transfer fee of £16m is a record for Leicester and coach Claudio Ranieri would be looking for the sort of form that saw the Nigerian score 54 goals in 168 games over his four seasons at CSKA Moscow. Musa’s 13 goals in the past season helped CSKA win the Russian league.
The Nigerian international played his first game for the national team in 2010 and has 58 caps, scoring 11 times, including two goals in the 3-2 defeat against Argentina in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Leicester tried but failed to sign the 23 year old in January.
