The former Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Benjamin Uwajumogu, is said to have been nominated for a ministerial position in President Buhahari’s government by Imo State governor Rochas Okorocha.
Uwajumogu failed at the last (s)election in his bid to represent Okigwe in the senate as an All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate. Our source claims that when he was Speaker he was like a “partner in crime” with Okorocha.
Uwajumogu’s crimes include securing a cut of the loans that the House of Assembly approved for the governor’s fictitious projects. His crimes have paid so much that he owns several mansions in Owerri, hotels in Owerri, Abuja and Lagos.
His time as Speaker was said to involve occult practices with juju men, and a “weekly importation of prostitutes from the Philippines, Greece, Russia, etc” for orgies.
