Former president Olusegun Obasanjo and the former governor of Lagos State, Bobo Chicago Bola Tinubu, are at loggerheads over the spoils of the APC’s victory in the presidential (s)election.
Both men believe Buhahahari should listen to them on ministerial nominees. Tinubu has already tried to claim key ministries for his placemen, especially the right to choose all nominees from his base in the southwest.
Our source claims that Buhahari has told Obasanjo that he can nominate one minister, and Obasanjo has asked for the finance ministry, and for former Central Bank governor Charles Soludo to head it.
Tinubu already has his eyes on that ministry for one of his placemen and as he and Obasanjo detest each other, none of them is willing to compromise.
