Our man “on ground” in Owerri said people in Imo State are tired of governor Rochas Okorocha’s “the more you look the less you see” style of governance.
The word is that Okorocha was near bankrupt before he became governor. Now everything he used to own has been revived and then some. These include hotels, buildings, schools, estates, etc.
The jewel in the crown of his property portfolio is land he allegedly bought from the Amokohia community near Owerri. The land is said to be as big as a village and contains approximately 100 buildings, including a “White House” that is claimed to be “better” than the original occupied by the Obamas, and a “Europe University”.
I wonder if the university will offer courses on looting public funds?
