President Muhammadu Buhari will travel to Germany this evening for three days. He is ostensibly flying out to meet Chancellor Angela Merkel for talks on “further cooperation on security, the humanitarian situation of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and rehabilitation of the North-East, as well as trade and economic relations between both countries”.
Buhari is meant to hold meetings tomorrow and on Friday and then is reportedly expected to visit a German hospital on Friday.

We have learnt that pro-Biafran protesters in Germany are planning a “warm welcome” for the president in Germany and sent text messages to supporters suggesting they should “confront” him at a hospital in Wiesbaden, where he is expected to be treated. The message read: “Horst-Schmidt Clinic, in Wiesbaden Germany. Wiesbaden is like 45 mins to German commercial capital Frankfurt. Wiesbaden is 10mins away from Mainz, and Julius Berger is based in Wiesbaden…..now you know the story, and what to do….”
