Kanu, the “Director” of Radio Biafra and leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) separatist movement, was arrested on 17 October by security agents in Nigeria.

Harman, his MP, asks the Foreign Secretary to establish what Kanu was arrested for, where he is being held, what he could be charged with and whether, as a British citizen, he is being supported by the British High Commission in Nigeria.
