Ayo Fayose piles on the pressure on absentee President Buhari, calls for his resignation

Ekiti State governor Ayo Fayose has over the past couple of days taken to Twitter to raise valid questions about President Muhammadu Buhari’s continued absence in London due to an undisclosed illness.

Fayose declared late last month that Buhari, who departed Nigeria for London 58 days ago, had been in a coma since 6 June.  Buhari’s party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) replied quite strangely that the Ekiti governor should prove that the president was in a coma.  One would have thought that the onus was on Buhari to appear in public and prove Fayose wrong.

Not to be deterred, Fayose tweeted this illustration of Buhari’s hypocrisy on illness and foreign medical treatment two days ago.

He backed this up with another tweet:

There were more questions from Fayose on the matter

Fayose, once again, returns to Buhari’s hypocrisy:

Buhari’s propaganda minister Lai Mohammed was not spared.

What was good for one sick president should be good for another, as Fayose calls for Buhari to resign.

He further clarified, in case of doubt.

For good measure, Fayose couldn’t resist the “I told you so”.
