Activist and Second Republic politician Tunji Braithwaite has described allegations of corruption from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) officials against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as “pot calling kettle black”.
Braithwaite spoke with Channels TV in an interview this evening, stressing that “many Nigerians were not taken in by the holier than thou attitude of the party pointing accusing fingers at the PDP”. He said this was because about 80% of the APC was made up of former PDP personnel.
He further elaborated that both parties were made up of “recycled material occupying positions in the country since at least 1999”.
He described them as “mosquitoes and rats sucking the life blood out of the new generation” of Nigerians.
